Introduction

BoostLock Secure ("we", "our", or "the App") is an Android Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution designed to provide businesses with comprehensive device control and security. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our application.

Important Notice: BoostLock Secure operates outside of standard Google Play policies and requires elevated system permissions to function properly. By using this application, you acknowledge and accept the deep system-level access required for device management capabilities.

1. Device Information

To provide device management services, we collect and process:

  • Device identifiers (IMEI, serial number, Android ID)
  • Hardware specifications (model, manufacturer, storage capacity)
  • Operating system version and security patch level
  • Network information (Wi-Fi, cellular connectivity status)
  • Battery status and performance metrics

2. Application Data

  • List of installed applications and their permissions
  • Application usage statistics and access logs
  • Blocked/allowed application lists configured by administrators

3. System Activity Logs

  • Device lock/unlock events
  • System settings modifications
  • USB connection attempts and port access logs
  • Security policy enforcement records

4. Location Data (Optional)

If enabled by your organization administrator, we may collect device location for asset tracking and security purposes.

System-Level Access and Permissions

Critical Information: BoostLock Secure requires Device Owner or Device Administrator privileges to function. This grants the application extensive system control, including:

  • Application Installation/Uninstallation Control: Ability to block or allow app installations system-wide
  • Hardware Restrictions: Control over USB ports, cameras, Bluetooth, and other hardware features
  • System Settings Lockdown: Ability to restrict access to device settings and configuration panels
  • Screen and Input Control: Enforcement of kiosk mode and app whitelist restrictions
  • Network Management: Control over Wi-Fi, cellular data, and VPN configurations
  • Factory Reset Protection: Ability to remotely wipe devices and enforce security policies

These permissions allow the application to deeply integrate with Android's operating system, bypassing standard Google Play protection mechanisms. This is intentional and necessary for enterprise-grade device management.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information exclusively for:

  • Enforcing security policies and device restrictions set by your organization
  • Monitoring device compliance and generating activity reports
  • Preventing unauthorized application installations and usage
  • Detecting and blocking security threats
  • Providing remote device management capabilities to administrators
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and improving application performance

Data Storage and Security

  • Local Storage: Device information is primarily stored locally on the managed device with encrypted storage mechanisms
  • Cloud Synchronization: Policy configurations and activity logs may be synchronized to secure cloud infrastructure for remote management
  • Encryption: All data transmissions use industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption
  • Access Controls: Only authorized organization administrators can access device management data

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Data may be shared only in the following circumstances:

  • Organization Administrators: Device data is accessible to administrators within your organization who have been granted management permissions
  • Service Providers: We may use trusted third-party services for cloud hosting and infrastructure, bound by strict confidentiality agreements
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government regulation

Your Rights and Choices

  • Access: You may request access to device data collected by the application through your organization administrator
  • Uninstallation: Due to Device Owner requirements, uninstallation requires factory reset or administrative removal
  • Opt-Out: Disabling BoostLock Secure requires contacting your organization's IT administrator, as the application enforces mandatory security policies

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Significant changes will be communicated to organization administrators. Continued use of the application after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
